Savage River Loop
Not yet safety-verifiedAn easy, family-friendly loop trail near the Savage River Bridge at Mile 15 of the park road. The trail follows both sides of the Savage River through subarctic tundra and boreal forest, with views of the Savage River canyon and the outer Alaska Range. One of the few trails in Denali accessible without a bus. Popular for wildflower viewing in June-July and fall colors in late August.
