Cerro Otto
✓ Verified against the agency · APNBariloche's backyard peak. Several trails from town, the 'Dificil' trail is the classic hiking route. Cable car also goes to the top — and yes, they charge you even if you walk up. Confitería giratoria (rotating café) at the summit. Roca de Habsburgo viewpoint en route.
Safety classification
Summer only. The agency page states the area is NOT accessible in winter — trails are covered in snow and ice. From the base (km 1 Av. de los Pioneros) it is 5–6 h and ~350 m; from the summit complex the Piedra de Habsburgo spur is 2 h round trip, 85 m.
