Fairy Meadows to Nanga Parbat BC

From Raikot Bridge on the KKH, a jeep road (one of Pakistan's most dangerous) climbs to Tato Village, then a 5.5km trek through forest reaches Fairy Meadows — an alpine pasture at 3,300m with direct views of Nanga Parbat's Raikot Face. Beyond, Beyal Camp leads to the base camp at ~3,967m. No permits required, but foreign nationals register at Raikot Bridge and may be assigned a police escort.
