K2 Base Camp Trek
Not yet safety-verifiedThe ultimate Karakoram trek — 180-200km round trip through the Baltoro Glacier corridor to the foot of K2. From Askole, the route follows the Braldu River valley through sandy flats to Paiju (last trees), then enters full glacial terrain past Urdukas and Goro II to Concordia — the amphitheater where the Baltoro, Godwin-Austen, and Vigne glaciers converge beneath K2, Broad Peak, and all four Gasherbrums. K2 BC is a day-trip from Concordia at 5,150m. Restricted zone permits required ($340/person). No lodges — expedition camping only.
