Ordesa Valley / Cola de Caballo
Not yet safety-verifiedThe signature day hike of the Spanish Pyrenees. From Pradera de Ordesa (1,320m), the trail follows the Río Arazas through beech and pine forest along the flat valley floor, passing a chain of waterfalls — Cascada del Estrecho, Gradas de Soaso — before reaching the Cola de Caballo (Horsetail) waterfall at the head of the valley beneath the Monte Perdido massif. Moderate difficulty, well-marked, and jaw-dropping from start to finish.
