Moderate valley walk for 8km, then a 400m loose-moraine scramble in the final kilometer that substantially exceeds the 'moderate' grading every blog gives it. Since October 2024 this trail has an APN entry fee at three gates. Crowds are severe after 9am in peak season — dawn start is the honest answer.
