Warning: Semeru

Mount Semeru (3,676m) reopened 24 April 2026 but access is limited to Ranu Kumbolo only. The summit is prohibited. Alert Level III. 2,815 eruptions recorded in 2025. Any guide marketing a summit trek is publishing dangerously outdated information.
