Trek Iceland
On 20 March 2010 the ground opened at Fimmvörðuháls, a walking pass between two glaciers, and built two new craters. Icelanders named them Magni and Móði, after Thor's sons. Three weeks later the same volcano erupted again beneath the ice, cancelled a hundred thousand flights and stranded two million people. The trail goes straight over the new lava.
