Metodología: French refuge half-board uses the EUR 85 midpoint (range EUR 75-100) for non-members and EUR 72 for FFCAM members (EUR 5-15 discount documented). Italian rifugio uses EUR 72 midpoint (range EUR 60-85). Swiss hut uses CHF 115 midpoint (range CHF 100-130) for non-members, CHF 85 for SAC members (~30% discount). CHF is treated at EUR parity (1 CHF ~ 1.00 EUR as of 2026). Flight costs are fare-aggregator midpoints. The calculator does not include: gear you already own, meals off-mountain in town, side trips outside the trek, or travel insurance beyond the membership and Rega coverage shown. Extras beyond half-board (EUR 20/day) covers beer, coffee, snacks, and paid showers.
